"For the price, the lodge is a good place to stay at Harvey's Point. The rooms are compact but clean and have a shower, tea making facilities and enough space for clothing. We had a nice lake view and the lodge is surrounded by parkland and trees. The only drawback was walking in the open to the main hotel if the weather was poor., but umbrellas are provided. "The room surfaces were clean but the air quality was poor: air circulation was poor, and there was a strong mouldy smell that originated from the bathroom. The hotel felt safe and the beds were fine, and the location is great. Overall, it feels like good value for staying right on The Diamond, but Donegal is small enough that perhaps staying slightly away from the centre would be fine too."

"Noisiest hotel room I have ever had! Hotel is located at the intersection (traffic circle) of two very busy roads which made our room VERY NOISY. In addition, Saturday night there was a DJ in the bar until 12:30 and the music was very loud in our room!"
