Can thoroughly recommend, clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast and the friendliest of welcomes. A brilliant restaurant a short stroll away for dinner. We stayed in the stag room which is very spacious.
Great comfortable stay however, the hostess was a little to helpful and my day of planed relaxation turned into a great tour of the local Tomintoul distillery and a wonderful walk to Carn Daimh 570m
This is the third year we've stayed at Argyll Guest House during October weekend, and would return next year. There are new improvements to the rooms and the usual cleanliness and servie continues to be best.
Diane was the most welcoming, kind and interesting host. We were well looked after, and the breakfasts cooked fresh were excellent. This guest house is a great treasure
My favourite accommodation in Scotland. Tomintoul is a great spot to stay and Argle guesthouse is welcoming and comfortable. Great rooms, comfy beds and a delicious breakfast.
This place is an adorable bed and breakfast. Diana is communicative and accommodating, just message through the app and she answers immediately. They had a lil whisky waiting on arrival which was great because this is on the whisky trail. I would only suggest dealing with some upholstery stains on the cute furniture to have a flawless stay.
Comfortable room, friendly host and excellent breakfast. We were lucky to be treated to a brand new bed that had just arrived hours before checking in. Triple thumbs up
The owner made you feel like you were home from a long trip. It was very private and secure. One of the most pleasurable place I have ever stayed. I highly recommend stay there if you can.

Nice proprietor and a fantastic comfy large bed and hot shower. Good location in a cute town with fantastic scenery on the way.
The location is convenient to the Whiskey Trail and several significant castles, as well as beautiful drives in the Highlands. The room was clean and the breakfast was fantastic.
Tomintoul is a lovely little village in the highlands. The hosts are terrific, breakfast was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. We'd definitely go back!
Very friendly host and was a quaint B&B experience.
Dined at the Richmond Arms for dinner which was great steak and ale pie and then breakfast at Argyle was great as well.
