While Marina Vista isn't home to many top sights, Hacienda Baru and Playa Dominical are some notable places to visit nearby.
Overall a great stay. Fabulous location, kids loved the pool. The greenery is so good! Much better than most hotels. Breakfast was nice (not amazing, though). Some things are getting a bit run down, but I imagine maintenance in the tropics is pretty challenging.

Minimal amenities (small fridge in room, AC, TV) but clean. Nightclub/restaurant next door plays music in the evening until late(ish). No cleaning or maid service. Secure locking gate was usually closed and locked in the evening.
