"The castle was an amazing experience. Who doesnt want to stay in a castle?? It is FAR into the countryside and without a car, you cannot visit. The room was stunning but it was so hot and there was no option to adjust the temperature. Dinner was a challenge. You had to flag down the staff for cutlery after they dropped off the food. Waitstaff did not know the menu and could not advise what was in an item or even what items are being served. Steak was under cooked and the staff didn't come to...

"We stayed for a night, the building is beautiful and well maintained. The bar was friendly with live music which we enjoyed and the breakfast was delicious. The only issue we could raise was that having taken the lift to the second floor there were more steps to reach our room. Fine for us but potentially an issue for some. Also they need bigger towels in the rooms!"

"We had a lovely one night stay recently for a wedding we were attending in the rivercourt hotel, it was amazing value for money. The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Such a great stay we will definitely be back again. Denise & James. "
