"We stayed here in April, it was a beautiful property and so peaceful. Perfect for a relaxed retreat. We enjoyed a couples massage and just relaxed by the pool. You will need transportation to get around as its not walking distance to the center. But amazing place to just unwind."

"Me and my family had a wonderful vacation at Sanggraloka Ubud. It had such a wonderful view of valley with the location only being 20 minutes away from Ubud Center. the farm has many spices collections, so they educate my children the name of spices that are usually used by Balinese people. "

"Great new suites but due to the harvest time of rice fields there were rats and mice everywhere, including in the room, the staff were so apologetic and went well out of there way to catch them and blocking the roof holes. no fault of the resort and they really tried hard to please"

"Absolutely amazing location. A little far from ubud however the tranquility of the jungle was welcome. We took the daily shuttle to ubud which the resort provided. The staff were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for a month and loved the privacy of having our own villa with a pool. "

"This resort is somewhat misleading as the grounds are GORGEOUS but the hotel needs some serious work in terms of food, provisions and accessibility. Bagus Jati is not at all walkable. You need to take a buggy from your room to the restaurant, spa, lobby, etc.. The food was also not good at all, we ate lunch and breakfast (buffet) one time each and were not happy with the quality. As the resort is VERY remote it is not possible to order food so I would expect a better food and beverage program. The staff and spa were definitely the highlights, I had a massage/ facial and hair treatment that were all amazing! The pool is also beautiful but not heated and very cold. I would also have appreciated a bar/ restaurant near the pool as the only restaurant onsite is very far! I felt dehydrated during most of my stay. Also something to keep in mind this resort is about an hour to an hour and a half from Ubud and getting transportation was very difficult and not possible at times other than expensive transport provided by the hotel. Looking for a very remote escape than this could be the place for you but I would recommend to stay closer to Ubud for ease of transport and accommodations. "

"Such an amazing experience at this hotel, not only is the staff incredibly kind and attentive they are also so thoughtful. We stayed for our honeymoon in the pool villa, and on the first night we came in they gave us a call in the morning to see if we’d like to have breakfast even after breakfast hours were over since we hadn’t eaten. They always asked us about our itinerary to help us decide best places to go or offer us shuttle service or a car. We went on a lovely trip with Joe to the swing and coffee plantation, he’s so fun and knowledgeable, he was also so patient with us and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. The room itself is beyond what I expected, so clean and beautifully designed. The bathroom is so spacious and gorgeous that we could probably just live there. The shower has the best water pressure and the hot water keeps going even when we’ve filled the bath and want to use the shower after. Such an amazing experience, I really wish we had booked longer. Highly recommend staying here, and hope to come back one day! Also they offer yoga in the morning, a free foot massage when you first come and their chicken is halal. Amazing experience!! Thank you so much to everyone at the hotel!! "
