Great service and friendly staff

The friendly staff on night duty helped us check in after hours and so friendly and nice. Really good service and the hotel was cozy and clean. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy.

This hotel has restored our faith in Best Western hotels! It has everything you want from an excellent hotel - great staff, comfortable rooms and a super breakfast. Additionally, there is free parking (on a first-come, first served basis) and it is close to the autoroute but very quiet. We were allocated a room in the annex and our room's blackout was excellent. We also ate dinner in the restaurant and it was hugely tasty and not too expensive for the Mulhouse/Colmar region. We will be back - many thanks to all concerned for making this such a memorable and comfortable visit!

The property was clean and we had large rooms. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The hammam is only available on request. The people at the reception are practical, but are helpfull when asked.

The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming - the waitress from the bar not so much! We didn't eat in the restaurant as it was quite expensive. Suite was lovely but quite spartan. We found the beds quite uncomfortable and, although there were 5 of us, there were only two mugs?? Shower was good but bathroom was tiny. Use of the pool and hot tub was great and the children really enjoyed it. Late check out time was a bonus too. Baldersheim appeared to be a lovely town - very clean and pretty.

A little disappointing

I chose this hotel after reading quite a few positive reviews, and was honestly a little disappointed by our stay. The good: clean bathrooms and linens. Lovely indoor pool area. Proximity to the highway makes it a great stopping point on a long drive. The bad: the hotel reception and corridors smelled like cigarette smoke, the pillows were old, lumpy and smelled like other people's unwashed sweaty heads This made it impossible to sleep as every time I moved, I got a whiff of it. The night receptionist that was there when we arrived was very nice, but since there is only one desk, there always seems to be a queue.

Overall the hotel was easy to find, set in a quaint little town, beautifully presented from the outside. Our room was great, clean and tidy and worked for us as a family. The swimming pool and spa was excellent and easy to access. Would should have pre booked dinner before arrival, the restaurant in the hotel was lovely, food excellent but we couldn’t get a table until really late in the evening, which was not ideal with two children. We’d been driving all day so did not want venture back out and no other immediate choices for food. When we did get dinner we thoroughly enjoy it however, once we got seated. There was a bar facility out the hotel building, next door, we bought one drink at 6pm and with all of the outside seating taken with customers, they closed up and that was it, no more bar….this left us with a long wait between then and dinner. Plenty of parking and very helpful front desk staff. We had a good stay.

Great ski stopover

Good ski stop. Lovely whirlpool, sauna, steam and pool. Friendly staff and good food for evening meal and good range of breakfast items. Scramble seemed a little processed but that’s all I’d ‘knock’. Parking availability was slightly tight, arriving mid evening.

The property is really nice with a nice and quiet atmosphere. The staff is super attentive and made our stay very enjoyable. The only negative was the stairs on the suite which are not easy when you need to carry luggage. Otherwise, a 10 out of 10 and a number 1 choice is we are in the area again.
