"I hate that I couldn't give a higher rating, but I just can't. While I loved the view from the apartment and the only employee working there was great, my stay was a roller coaster of bad and good.
The listing says there is a microwave, a dryer, and a private bathroom, but that is not true. There is a washer and a drying rack. Because the property is so high up and the balcony where the drying rack is located is, takes several days to get your clothes dry. The listing says non-smoking, but...

"Fantastic hotel, with lovely facilities and amenities. Amazing location, had a view of the city and was well looked after. One of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in."
"The entire staff at 4Seasons Baku make this iconic Baku hotel even more special and memorable! They helped us coordinate our visa to Baku before arriving due to the portal link not working. The staff had a birthday cake for our adult son as Baku was part of his birthday trip. The concierge's dinner recommendations were delicious and better than AI's suggested places. Our two rooms had fantastic views of the flame towers, the tulip mall, and the carpet museum. It was perfectly located near the old city walls. Breakfast was the best (or near the best) on our entire Caucasus extended tour. BAKU is a gorgeous city with historical beautiful sites to explore. The city wowed us and has much more to offer to tourists than we had anticipated. I'd love t return for another 3 days in the future."
"The hotel was excellent and spotless,The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel was located in an ideal place for shopping sight seeing and restaurants .It had a lovely view ."
"Stayed here twice, it’s in a brilliant location and Baku is very walkable so this is a great spot. Lovely views on the higher floors and the food is good."
"The hotel is modern and feels very inviting and fresh. The room itself is also contemporary, with plenty of charging points, modern lighting, and overall cleanliness. There were a few signs of wear and tear, which is to be expected.
However, the air conditioning does not work until the outside temperature reaches a certain level (an Ibis policy). The hotel is well insulated, which unfortunately made the room temperature quite uncomfortable, even with the window open. The thick bedding didn’t help either.
I also reported that the bed was squeaky and had a wobbly leg, but this was not fixed during the four days of our stay.
The breakfast was a small continental-style setup, with low-quality coffee and juices. In hindsight, we regret paying for it, as there are much better and more affordable cafes nearby.
The gym is functional but very small, so it’s not suitable for a full workout.
Overall, while the hotel is modern, I wouldn’t stay again after experiencing other options in Baku, where better-priced rooms with more facilities are available."
