"Ce n'est pas un hôtel, c'est un gîte. Ce n'est pas indiqué dans le descriptif. Il faut ramener ses draps, serviettes et papier toilette ! Et il faut surtout une lampe torche, car les lodges sont dans la nature, sans aucune lumière ni indication. Il n'y a pas de wifi, pas de télé. Sinon, endroit très calme, très propre. Bon petit-déjeuner, mais attention il est compris dans la réservation, donc pas à payer en sus. "

"This is the best stay option in Bayeur. Isabelle was very kind. She came to the train station to drive us to her B&B. Her property is on a very quiet street. But it is so close to the Main Street and all the shops, restaurants, local attractions, all in a few min walking distance. The room is very nice, clean, and European which we love. "The owners were lovely and very welcoming with off road parking provided within the grounds. The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. There was a good breakfast included of Croissant/Pain au Chocolate/Pain au Raisin and bread, preserves and cheese together with hot drinks and juice. "Pleasant welcome for a 4 night stay Stairs to our room a little difficult, narrow and steep .Our room was very clean . No TV and the wifi very intermittent . There was a kettle but no milk and only 2 teabags & 2 coffee sachets- they don't actually provide these and so out we went shopping! Eating your own food is not allowed in your room .The village , only has one expensive restaurant and a pizza place, other eateries are miles away.Bayeux is 17km away.
