a must stay location.

Great owner and staff. Friendly, helpful and pleasant in every way. Nice night life bar area and a great German style breakfast. Arrived too late for an evening meal but based on how busy the eating areas were I would expect the food to be excellent too. A must stay if anywhere in the area. We drove from Colmar and was well worth the drive.

We wouldn't stay there again.

The bedroom was good and spaceous but that was it. The breakfast was extremely disappointing with very limited options, especially on the first morning when only a few other rooms were staying in the hotel, and they did not restock the food or drinks - basically First come, First Serve. We were not advised where to enter the hotel after the reception is closed, and after coming back from Europapark, we found ourselves locked outside with no one to assist us. Only german spoken in the hotel.

I never stayed! I tried twice to check in, but no one was around in the afternoon! I had to pay for another hotel to stay at nearby. Went on the 18th and there was still no one available. I lost my money! I only saw this place from the outside, but it looked rundown. Nothing like the photos. I would not recommend this hotel. I lost $114 that I cannot recover.

At least as good as others in the area

I have tried most of the hotels in this area so my standard gripes about the hard base to the bed and lack of a drinks maker or air conditioning in the room are not unusual. It is on a main road but the double glazing and external wooden shutters are 100% effective against any noise and lights. Best shower; hot, powerful and with both the fixed overhead and hand held shower heads. Large restaurant on site (not tried), including outside seating areas. Car park is too small and difficult to maneuver around. Breakfast was typical to what is expected. Wi Fi was great in the evening but did consistently drop out during morning use. Immaculately clean throughout. I will keep trying to find a more luxurious option in the area but if not, this would be the best of the rest and I would use it again.

Zimmer sauber und ordentlich, im Bad gute Auswahl an Kosmetik Artikeln (Bodylotion, Wattestäbchen, Ohrstöpsel? Zimmer direkt an der Hauptstraße, teilweise laut, wenn Fenster geöffnet sind. Eventuell Zimmer zum Hof erfragen. Frühstück bietet tolle Auswahl hochwertiger regionaler Produkte. Abendessen im eigenen Gasthof möglich. Auch da sehr hochwertige Produkte, entsprechend ist der Preis. Vor allem die Salate sind sehr üppig und vielseitig, sehr zu empfehlen

Struttura nella media. Dovrebbero avvisare quando hanno il giorno di chiusura del ristorante. Non si può arrivare in un Hotel dopo una giornata in auto e trovare il ristorante chiuso per riposo settimanale, quando si sceglie la struttura proprio perché è dotata di ristorante. Credo sia utile anche a Hotels.com avvisare i clienti in tal senso.
