"The hotel and the room were clean, but we had a constant issue with supply. The pool was out of towels and even after asking for more, we never got them. Lobby restrooms out of paper towels for days on end and when they finally restocked the paper towels, they were out of toilet paper. Housekeeping changed our sheets but did not give us any towels, toilet paper, or garbage bags. Also, the free hot breakfast was sub-par. The eggs were watery and hard at the same time. "Great staff! Super friendly and helpful. No complaints there! But this hotel did not meet up to the Marriott standards. Rooms were stuffy, hallway was stuffy, Gym was warm as well. Don’t bother mentioning you have a pool. Breakfast was not good."

"My husband and I booked the hotel for our 19th anniversary. We really liked the ocean front room. Very clean. Maybe put a side table on the balconies. We would like to see a safe in the rooms for security and peace of mind. We liked the bar/restaurant underneath the hotel. Nice hotel. We hope to stay next year."

There was an issue with them being short-staffed during our stay so we had difficulty securing bedding for the pull out couch as well as enough towels and wash cloths for our large party. "Good value and I liked that they gave me extra time after check out on my parking permit so I could hang out at the boardwalk before I left for the day."

"The view was great. Nothing else was. Every electrical outlet was loose, so none of our plugs would stay plugged in. The TV wouldn't power on. The was an adjoining room door which allowed us to hear the young people carrying on next door all night. And 5 minutes before checkout they turned the water off so we couldn't use the bathroom one last time."

After getting home, I was charged an additional $30.00 by the hotel with no notice, explanation or receipt for the charges. Additionally, don’t stay here if you don’t want to deal with people’s animals being everywhere."

"Though Tideland have their own parking lot I did not realize until shortly before arriving they charge $20 a day for parking. A/C and TV were troublesome most of our stay. When asked about A/C maintenance installed a portable A/C unit in our room. Tideland was waiting for cable provider to repair cable. Needed to ask to freshen the room. Staff was incredibly accommodating to needs I would not stay at this hotel again."

"Room was ok. For the price and location I was ok with the room itself. The bathroom had no mirror, no where to hang towels and no toilet paper holder. The towels were laying on top of the toilet with the toilet paper. The fan had no cover on it and was filthy. The bathroom door still had paint tape around door knob and door would not shut. "The room was fine, but there is a parking fee on top of the hotel room fee so after you book with Expedia they won't let you park your vehicle in their motel parking lot unless you pay an additional $10 per night"
