Boat over the Elbe connects hotel to center of Bad Schandau and start of hiking routes to natural park Sächsischer Schweitz. Good breakfast, OK restaurant and another option for dinner nearby. Clean rooms, nice staff.

Big property with lots of little courtyards to sit privately, outside areas with very comfortable armchairs, beautiful terrace for lunch and dinner. Hotel with nice view to Elbe

My stay was nice without any problem. Hotel is located a bit far from evening attraction but provides ferry tickets for each day in order to get to the other side of Elba river and Bad Schandau.

Nice place to stay for a weekend or longer

We booked a little apartment with breakfast, which gave the luxury of a hotel combined with the freedom of an apartment with a small kitchen, a fridge and an upstairs bedroom. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast buffet was very good and the coffee was strong, as it should be. The view was stunning and one gets a free train/bus/boat pass to go around for hikes.

No elevator, had to carry my luggage to the 2nd floor. Could not open the window during night due to nearby railway line. Good breakfast choice, Bit breakfast only available as from 97:30hrs.

Find hotel but not great value.

At first we were put in a room in an adjacent building at ground level with the path behind the hotel. We would not have been able to open our window so we asked for a different room. They offered one on the 4th and 5th floors facing the river. Despite carrying our suitcase up 5 floors these were both much better. We were concerned about the train but with the window closed at night we never heard it. I think we could have left one of the windows open. Room was basic, no fridge and it took about 20 minutes minimum to get hot water in the shower. They did give us ice at night for drinks.

Der freudliche und sachkundige, (was Auskünfte betraf), Empfang. Ich habe mich in den Räumlichkeiten des Hauses wohl gefühlt. Da ich nur zu einer Übernachtung das Quartier genommen hatte, lässt sich von meiner Seite nichts weiter sagen.

Man musste mit sämtlichem Gepäck 4 Stockwerke hoch gehen, da kein Fahrstuhl zur Verfügung steht und niemand die Koffer das Gepäck hoch trägt. Für ältere Menschen eine Zumutung

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal! Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und bietet gute Auswahl. Leider war die Unterkunft nicht so komfortabel eingerichtet, als auf den Bildern gezeigt. Diese war auch nach dem Putzen nicht wirklich sauber.

Sehr schönes Hotel Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Die Möglichkeit die Sauna zu benutzen ist richtig klasse. Das Restaurant ist sehr nett, das Essen reichlich und lecker. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, vielfältig und lecker. Das Zimmer war groß und gut ausgestattet

Es gibt viele Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. Das Frühstück war gut, Abendessen kann man in der näheren Umgebung besser. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist einfach. Im Internet steht mit Minibar, gibt aber nicht mal einen Kühlschrank.
