Great location, AMAZING spa and pool

The hotel is charming. Would absolutely recommend and stay again. The ugly: No AC, no fans. Small balcony door had to be kept wide open over the terrace bar to get any airflow. (And Saturday night there was a free concert that kept rocking until midnight.) The bad: My room (standard double) was small with a tiny bathroom, keycard entry took some practice to get it right, and mediocre wifi access in the room. The hotel amenities book is all in German. The good: Lots of cool antiques decorating the public spaces. Breakfast had options for everyone. (Because of the open door I woke to the smell of bacon and croissants.) Easy walk across the stree to the main therme and center of a lovely town. The FABULOUS: The spa/pool is gorgeous! I should have spent lots more time in the spa. The hours are 0700-2200. An awesome place to relax. I liked the tiny little corner with the heated tile bench! The salt room was nice. The sauna is nude only. Tips: Google maps thinks the entrance is on the opposite side of the road. At 8pm on a Friday night everything but a couple of restaurants in town are closed. (Solution, go to the spa!)

Straße viel zu laut auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern. Wasser für Tee beim Frühstück nicht richtig heiß bzw kochend. Nachbargrundstück demnächst mit Baulärm??

I liked the friendliness of the staff. They looked after the very tired traveller on the first night very well providing a meal outside normal hours. There was also lots going on in various rooms which was good to see. I did not like the lift. Not very reliable and a bit too small. The wi fi was down all day. No cushion on the seat on the balcony. There were cushions on other balcony seats ajacent to my room.

Es war erholsam

Ich hatte ein kleines Einzelzimmer. Man konnte jedes Wort verstehen, was auf dem Flur gesprochen wurde. Die Dusche musste man in der Hand halten. Wie es in anderen Zimmern ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Top war das Wellnessangebot. Erstklassig. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Man konnte sich Waffeln frisch zubereiten! Hat man auch nicht überall.

Ingen brand alarm gav anledning til bekymring

Fik desvære en meget ubehagelig oplevelse i forbindelse med der opstod ildebrand på hotellet i et værelse i underetagen umiddelbart under mit single room på 3. sal. Der var ikke nogen brandalarmer og eneste grund til jeg kom ud af værelset var fordi strømmen gik og jeg derfor reagerede med at få fat i receptionen. Klart at en sådan oplevelse gir anledning til at tænke om hotellet er sikret godt nok for alarmer og de manglende brandsprinklere ved udbrud af brand som i dette tilfælde.

A little old fashioned but has charm

We were not at the hotel a lot because of attending the N24 race. It seemed a little old fashioned but had a lovely charm to it and the staff were very welcoming, it was clean but we didn’t have a chance to use any of the facilities. Would definitely return.

Prachtig hotel met ontspannend karakter

Mooi hotel met veel sfeer , prachtige spa en zwembad. Zeer nette kamer met alle comfort, goede wifi. Restaurant biedt een buffet met ruime keuze, ook mogelijkheid a la carte te eten. Vriendelijk personeel.

Hat die vier Sterne nicht verdient.

Trotz mehrere Reklamationen wurde uns vom Hotel in keinster Weise geholfen. Das Bett war nicht in Ordnung und Quietschte wie noch was. Dies wurde drei mal reklamiert. Dann am Abend vor der Abreise gegen 21 Uhr wurde uns eine Flasche Wein angeboten( man hoffte Wahrscheinlich, dass man nach der Flasche Wein das Geräusch nicht mehr hört. Danach hätten wir auch zu dieser Urzeit das Zimmer wechseln können. Zu dieser Urzeit haben wir dies dann abgelehnt. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption war nach der Reklamation sehr unfreundlich.

Klasse Service, etwas angestaubt.

Das Hotel wurde uns von einem Freund und Geschäftspartner vorgeschlagen. Es ist ein Familienhotel in 6. Generation oder so. Das sieht man (leider). Jede Generation hat irgendwas dazu oder umgebaut. Einige Teile sind sehr schön, andere haben den Charme der 80er. Insgesamt hat das Hotel eine Kernsanierung der Gästezimmer nötig. Die Kacheln im Badezimmer sind einfach weiß drübergestrichen. Das Hotel ist unserer Meinung nach überteuert, aber ist ist halt Bad Neuenahr... Die Zimmer sind sauber, der Service selbst und das Essen ist klasse, da merkt man wieder das Familienhotel.

Sehr schönes Hotel im Zentrum

Ich brauchte einfach nur eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit zwecks Weihnachtsfeier im Ort, fand Ringhotel Giffels Goldener Anker und war nur sehr überrascht. Ich habe den Luxus vergangener Zeiten, den mir das Hotel geboten hat in vollen Zügen genossen. (Leider hatte ich keine Zeit für den Pool ... vielleicht beim nächsten Mal !!!) Gerne sehe ich meinem nächsten Aufenthalt entgegen.
