"I had one more night in Split after my week of sailing around the Croatian islands. This is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of the Palace. Be prepared for a 1/4 mile walk or so rolling your luggage as cars are not allowed in the city center. And be sure to wear ‘proper shoes’ as the steps up to the hotel are centuries old and polished slick! Very clean, very nice and comfortable. Also be prepared for a lot of noise until the sidewalk cafes and bars close at midnight. "

"Oh my goodness I love this hotel!!! Jan, the manager, went out of his way to help us with EVERYTHING. The room was lovely. The bathroom had a great shower and L’Occitane products. The bathroom floor was heated. There was a vanity mirror so that my old eyes could see to do my makeup. I loved having a kettle in the room. There was also a stocked refrigerator. "Hotel Mondo is a clean functional modern hotel with a large dining hall and indoor swimming pool and a gym next door, a supermarket is also located very near the site which came in handy for every day items I needed.
