"Staff were super nice/attentive/helpful. Room was large, clean, bed was amazingly comfortable. But the place is shabby/kind of a dump. Thermostat in my room was not actually connected to anything. Shades in the bathroom were missing large pieces. Rug was stained & ripped. Definitely gave “rent by the hour motel” vibes. It was adequate for my 2 nights, but I wouldn’t stay again."

"We stayed in this hotel for the second time, big mistake. All my complaints about the first visit were still in place and then there were new ones. First, why stay there. VERY convenient location, right off the highway, perfect for our college graduation weekend. And we ate in the on-site restaurant which was very good. Now why not to stay there. The two things in a hotel that are non-negotiable for me are a comfortable bed and a great hot shower. The bed was awful, big lump in the middle, big enough that it kept making me feel that I was going to roll off onto the floor. And pillows like bricks, no fluff at all. The shower/tub had obviously been recently replaced, brand new, but the fixtures not. The temperature control was some kind of valve that, instead of going cold to hot just rotated endlessly, making it very difficult to find the right temperature. I could not get hot water in the sink at all. No carpeting. The ultimate insult: we wanted to watch the Red Sox game. Turned on the TV and the aspect ratio was all screwed up so that the sides of the picture were cut off. Then we tried to find NESN, which was listed on the channel lineup, and got a 'channel not available' message. A very nice desk guy came up to help us and tried to fix the picture. But the ultimate insult to a Red Sox fan in a Boston suburb was that, not only was NESN not available even though their guide said it was, the guy didn't even know what NESN was. So weird and frustrating."
