Comfortable and spacious room ( though no TV). Quiet surroundings. Parking close by. Good restaurant and excellent breakfast. All you need en route. Very picturesque location by canal.

Value for money

Clean and nice little hotel situated in a quiet village north of Amsterdam, newly decorated room and the bathroom likewise. Restaurant/bar in the building. Nice staff. Would recommend it ! Free parking just a little down the road.

Small hotel. Much noise from kitchen and ventilation system. Like the rum was shaking. Asked for another rum. They said the kitchen closed at early so it would not be a problem in the night. But still very much noise. Will not recommend this to anyone else.

Traffic around can be busy. Only one chair in room while most visitors are couples. Limited space as the room is small. No lift. Coffee machine didn't work Not too bad but probably better to look around for somewhere better at that price.

No Shampoo!!

The manager is friendly, smooth check-in, very clean rooms, nice atmosphere! - They didn't give us shampoo and soap!!! - Very nad sound isolation, in a way you hear the next room snoring!! - Very small room! The srvice isn't up to the price, especially no shampoo and soap delivered as they give other residents, which means it isn't their biggest attention!! I only advice if a quick business trip, but still there are 5 stars hotels in 20+ euro plus, but much better service!

NO TV , NO HEAT , asked every day to have our twin beds to be tied together as I didn’t know there was 2 separate beds for my wife and I as the images on the room I booked showed one double bed , was supposed to have room with view , all I got got view of a roof right up to my what they called a “window” lack of management to say the least , only good is location , would not stay there again , very disappointed .

Nette kamer en prachtige locatie

Het restaurant en de locatie is prachtig. Het inchecken ging soepel. En toen we erachter kwamen dat we teveel hadden betaald kregen we dit netjes terug. Er werd ook gelijk gevraagd hoe laat we ontbijt wilde of dat we ook voor de avond een tafel wilde reserveren. We kregen ook een welkomstasje met badschuim, lotion etc. Super attent. Het hotel was net een deur verder dan het restaurant waarmee we met een kaartje de deur konden openen. Twee trappen omhoog, wat ons deed denken aan onze oude Mavo tijd volgde we de nummers naar onze hotelkamer. Door een gang, met een prachtige muurtekening en dan naar rechts weer een lange gang en daar was onze kamer. Wij deden de deur open en de warmte kwam ons tegemoet. Geen airco of een waaier, alleen een klein kiepraam wat openstond. Gelukkig wel met een muskietennet. De kamer en badkamer was brandschoon. Douche was goed en ruim. De kamer zelf bestond uit 2 bedden met een nachtkastje en een wastafel. Deze kamer bracht ons weer back in time van de schoolweek op de lagere school of de hut die we hadden op de boot naar Engeland. Geen plek voor de rollator. Dus deze hebben we buiten op de gang laten staan. Achter het bed was wel mooi behang van de omgeving. De nacht was heel erg warm en zweterig. Maar het bed lag goed. Uitzicht hadden we niet, dat was op de dakpannen.

Het is een gastvrij hotel met ontzettend vriendelijk , meedenkend en behulpzaam personeel. Hulde! Kamers zijn klein, betaalbaar en schoon. Eten is erg lekker en goed verzorgd. Ontbijt uitgebreid behalve het ontbijt wat we meekregen voor onderweg. Dat was wat karig voor 14 euro. Maar we waren wel blij met de service. Met elektrische fietsen naar hoorn geweest. Allemaal prima geregeld!
