The hotel was under construction during my stay, which was not disclosed beforehand, and it also appears the property has recently changed names. Overall, the experience was subpar.
The biggest issue was the elevators. They were unreliable, had signs instructing guests how to press buttons to avoid breaking them, and would vibrate aggressively at certain floors. Some floors couldn’t even be accessed by elevator and required using the stairs, which was inconvenient. The ice machine was only located on the bottom floor, adding to the hassle.
The room cleanliness was just okay. It seemed standard at first, but I did notice some hairs here and there, which wasn’t great. The hot water was inconsistent and not very good.
The staff also didn’t seem very engaged or welcoming.
Overall, the stay was disappointing and could definitely be improved, especially with better communication about construction and maintenance issues.
