This property, inside and out, is beautiful. The small equipped kitchen was stocked with so many breakfast items to choose from! The hosts are lovely and very helpful! You will love the private courtyard too!

Great accommodation and hosts, highly recommend.

Great location, very close to the beach for a nice stroll to the town centre for a meal or breakfast. The location of Orewa is far enough from Auckland for peace and quiet, yet within easy commute with the motorway being only 2km away. The accommodation was great and provide complete privacy. The rooms were well furnished, very clean. The hosts were very attentive warm and very friendly. A return to Orewa and to Beachside is certainly on the cards!

High quality secluded accommodation.

Very nice accommodation with private courtyard virtually on the beach (50m). David and Linley were very welcoming, friendly and most obliging. Almost all needs catered for (for some reason wifi was weak and intermittent on Apple but ok on Android) - apartment got a bit cold by the morning which was just about ok being Easter but would have been an issue in colder weather. Early am sunrises looking east over the beach horizon were amazing.

A Slice of Heaven

This stay was an amazing way to begin our dream vacation in New Zealand! The apartment was in the ground level of the owner's home. The bedroom opened up to a beautiful private garden, where we enjoyed meals, a glass of wine and conversation. Step outside of the enclosed garden and you see the majesty of the Orewa Beach for a swim or beach walk. The hosts David and Linley provided wonderful provions for our breakfasts and even shared some homemade baked goods. They were very helpful in pointing out local sites to visit including Puhoi, Alice Eaves Scrnic Reserve, and Shakespear Regional Park Reserve. We also drove up the coast to Omaha Beach and Tawharunui Regional Park. Orwewa Beachside was a slice of heaven!

Right next to the beach...quiet...Has everything.

Lovely place to stay. Quiet. So close to the beach you can hear the waves lapping gently at the sand. The hosts thought of everything you might need, and we're very friendly and helpful. We would love to stay again.

Relaxing Oasis

We were greeted upon arrival by our host and given a short tour of the apartment and courtyard gardens. The rooms were beautiful with soft island colors and overstuffed pillows that beckoned us to relax. The bath made us feel pampered with lovely shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and oversized robes. The heated towel rod and antifog mirror were a much appreciated touch. The kitchen had everthing needed to prepare a meal or just a snack to take out on the patio as we listened to ocean waves and lounged with the cool breeze. Truly an Oasis for the weary travelers. We will absolutely return to this gem again. Thank you David and Lynnleigh for such a wonderful experience.

Gracious Hosts

Fabulous. Plenty of room for the three of us traveling together (four would have been a bit tight). Breakfast items (cereal, toast, eggs) and fresh fruit offered an outstanding choice. Owner checked in with us each morning to ensure we had everything we needed or to answer any questions. We felt pampered and important!

COZY and CONFORTABLE

David and Linley are very friendly and kind. We cooked breakfast by ourselves in the kitchen in the room. They kindly prepared bread, milk, eggs, yorgult, fruits, bamana cake and so on. Location is also good. I would like to stay there again.
