Long weekend near Gleneagles.

Perfect location for visiting Gleneagles golf resort. Hotel staff genuinely friendly and very helpful. Lively public bar at weekends.

We had a lovely stay at the Glendevon. The room was clean and comfortable with an excellent shower room and tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was delicious as was the evening meal we had in the bar restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive and we'd definitely stay here again.

Great stay, great food & entertainment

I stayed in room 8 for one night, clean room very comfy large bed amazing shower (water pressure was superb). We stayed on a Thursday night and they had live music on for an hour & then karaoke in the bar & restaurant 👍. The food was excellent there was a large selection of Indian food & some traditional dishes ( I had the chicken schnitzel with sauted potatoes & broccoli…v good. I’d also like to mention Sydney the extremely hard working barmaid, she never stopped all night 👏👏👏

Comfortable bed. Nice bed linen and towels and good bathroom. But access to the room was shabby and all carpets looked the worse for wear. Parking was limited and we had to leave our car on the road on Saturday night. Some staff were lovely others less so.

Staff were very friendly Noisy at night from the bar and the music but especially at finishing time when they closed up (noise from the street) - ear plugs recommended

I liked the staff, the in-house food and drink. This is a working pub so it's noisy at night time when the staff are tidying up downstairs and constantly in and out the doors. 10.30pm until 24.00 was nosiy enough to keep me awake and stop me falling asleep.

Room was lovely but tight stair to get upstairs and managed to fall with luggage when leaving.. carpet thread bare on stairs. Breakfast and breakfast staff member excellent. Main downfall for me was bedroom was above extremely noisy pub with loud music till midnight. I had gone to bed as shattered from driving but no chance of sleep.

Very late check in was no priblem, friendly staff, good overall stay, my only negative feedback was a clump of hair on the carpet and the room was had a cobweb. I think allthough wrong of me to complain, the room cleaning could have had more time spent on it. And finally the front external area was full of weeds. An hour or so could positively change the look of the property. Breakfast great, overall a good stay.

On arrival I said that I was with a group of 10 and we’d like to eat at about 8.30 or so and was told this would be no problem as the kitchen closed at 9. When we came back we were told the kitchen had closed early, which was annoying when I had specifically asked. The other thing which led me to score lower was the availability of breakfast, only from 7.30 - 8.30, which is too restrictive when you want to relax at a hotel, so I don’t know if the breakfast was nice or not as I didn’t make it down in time. The room was lovely and very comfy.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location. All staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely big room and comfy bed. Only negative was the drone of a ? Generator running all night next to our room.
