"There was dirt dust and someone’s chapstick under the pull out bed . The hotel is just older and could use some updates. Everything else was satisfactory. We would stay again it was a quick fun trip with our granddaughter and she had a blast. We have been coming there for years the pool furniture was dirty tables etc just maybe need a good scrubbing. "

"Options can be limited in this area if you want to stay within walking distance, with the average nightly price being relatively high. Red Wolf offers a lovely room with a very comfortable bed for a lot less cost per night. We will definitely return for another stay. "

"Nice property. Checkin is a little tricky finding where you need to be. Room was nice make up mirror needed a bulb and blow dryer died on me. Staff brought me a replacement. Overall great stay "

"This was a perfect stay for our family of 4. We loved making smores on the fire pit and went to Donner Lake, Downtown Truckee and local ski resorts. "

"Loved our stay. Very up to spec property, very clean with friendly staff at the reception. Our unit came with ski locker on the 1st floor - great feature don't need to carry and store skis in the unit. Very close to gondola."

"For Check in after 4pm you just grab your envelope out of a mailbox. No room key just a code. Property right on the water beautiful views. Not modern but clean. Short walk to kings beach along the lake edge. Kitchen had everything you needed and Safeway across the street. "
