"Mijn navigatie bracht mij niet bij het goede adres, maar uiteindelijk wel gevonden. Ligt erg afgelegen, daardoor lekker stil. Aardige mensen, alleen mevrouw spreekt Engels. Meneer alleen Frans. Ontbijt was lekker en alles was aanwezig. Ze hebben heel veel herten en rendieren, leuk om mee te maken. "

"We spent a very comfortable night in this beautiful old property, that is full of history and charm. The dinner was excellent as was the bottle of local wine. The town looked charming although we had very little time to explore. Hopefully we will be back. "

"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

"We received a warm welcome, our family room was very well appointed and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. Really lovely hosts who made us feel extremely welcome. Would happily return."
