"This was an extremely affordable place to suit our last-minute decision to stay in Koshigoe. The room was great, everything was pretty basic but for the price we paid it was more than enough. The owners were wonderful despite our very limited Japanese and even gifted us some postcards on departure! We were able to leave our bags on the day of checkout and explore the area before heading onto our next destination."

"Rooms are very clean. Amenities are adequate. Above all the place is in an environment where ait quality is superb and hot springs are everywhere! Mt. Fuji is about 50 kilometers away and you can see it from a couple of train ride stops away whether permitting. On the other hand for customers with a certain age you may need to be prepared for slope climbing. "I stayed in a double room and a single room .For the price it is okay-storage for luggage is under the bed.I find the bathroom very small as a 5’8 when sitting my knees nearly touch the door.Overall I found the single room to be slightly more spacier overall.Would stay here again because of the easy check in and out process.Especially the express check out which was very convenient for catching 5am trains to Narita airport.No complications."

"This is my second stay at this hotel, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. I first stayed here in 2022 and had an excellent experience, which is why I chose to return. The location is perfect, with easy access to restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and public transportation. What truly sets this hotel apart is its outstanding staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They even stored one of my suitcases while I traveled to another city, making my trip much more convenient and stress-free. The exceptional service, prime location, and overall hospitality make this one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Yokohama. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying here again on my next visit."

"This is one of the best properties I've stayed in across my travels! I was in Yokohama for a conference and required a comfortable space with good amenities, and The Splaisir hit all the marks. The hotel is a quick walk across a pedestrian bridge to the Yokohama Station, and the neighborhood has several dining and shopping options. The room I booked was fairly large and had a combo washer/dryer, kitchenette, and lots of storage. I have stayed at four- and five-star hotels before and I'd be hard-pressed to recall one that matched the cleanliness of The Splaisir. I also appreciated that the City Bakery on the lobby level had good coffee and excellent baked goods (try the pretzel croissant!), and I relied on it on most days for my breakfast. If I'm ever back in Yokohama, I will not even bother looking for another hotel - I will head straight for Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir!"

"My experience was amazing. Of course, once I get there my card isn’t working, right? Ughhhh. However, the front desk was accommodating and let me still check in and just advised to have it situated prior to departure. Breakfast was amazing, room was cleaned very well, projector instead of a tv was kool and different."
