"The hotel needs to take into consideration the very low chairs which counted as sofas which are extremely uncomfortable.
No table to eat only a small low coffee table and again extremely uncomfortable outside chairs.
One small rack to hang your towels
No space to place 2 toiletries bags.
Staff were friendly enough.
We won’t be returning to this hotel unfortunately on our next travels back to Crete."

"Stunning boutique hotel that is the envy of every person walking past. The owner and her son were lovely hosts. Loved our loft style room overlooking the old pedestrian street in old town. Our room was located in the Venetian wooden extended windows above the hotel entrance. Just fantastic.
Breakfast is continental but they do make you eggs to order.
Loved the location as it is right in old town but not on a laneway with bars.
Parking is difficult in Rethymno old town as cars aren't allowed...

"Had a wonderful stay here. The property is charming with a lot of character and a perfect central location. The “superior” room was spacious and bright and the staff were incredibly friendly. The cleaning staff especially were so kind and sweet. The shower did switch temperatures from hot to warm back and forth which was odd but that was the only thing we noticed. Overall fantastic and highly recommend!!"

"This is like no hotel we have ever experienced, and we have travelled extensively. This is a converted Hamam from the 17thC with all the modern amenities. The room had been the warming room of the Hamam and includes a private steam bath. A large dome is central to the room, as is the comfortable bed. Beautiful tile work. And a delightful host who answered all our questions and made excellent suggestions."

"We had a fantastic stay in Casa Vitae, Villa Amaryllis. The apartment was very clean, well maintained, and actually more modern than we expected. The pool area was great and made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly helpful and responded quickly whenever we had questions or needed assistance.
