Wonderful place and great location

25 Kavalatti is a great place to stay - very clean and comfortable. The kitchenette is so handy as well. The location is perfect - steps to the Acropolis, and just minutes to Plaka and Monastiraki. We enjoyed our time there.

Great location, could use some fixing.

Kavalotti place was located a short walk from most attractions which was great for my friends and I as we only had 2 nights in Athens. Marios was lovely and helpful, providing assistance and recommendations for places to visit and where to eat. The apartment itself, at first, was amazing with modern decor and spacious areas to congregate, however we quickly found the flaws. Every single one of the chairs was missing at least one bolt in the legs - we only found this out after I sat on one chair and the side of the chair gave out because 2 bolts on that side were missing. The bed frame in the main room is also broken and appears to have been held together with cable ties (another happy accident when my friend sat on the end of the bed and fell through). There was no fan in the bathroom to help reduce the amount of steam, though it looks as though they may be installing it soon as there was wiring hanging from the ceiling. You also had to stop the shower constantly to avoid flooding the bathroom as the drain was slow and the water would quickly fill up. If you can overlook the amount of redecorating happening (at least I hope that's what's happening) then the place is definitely a great place to stay with a hospitable host and great location.

You are getting an apartment here, so keep that in mind. The wifi is slow, some of the fixtures aren't in the best condition, the bed was broken and the chairs in the dining area were broken as well. With that said, the location is amazing. 5 minute walk to the Acropolis. Amazing food within a block. Markets within a block or two. You are paying for the location here and it's an excellent location to visit Athens from. Is it hotel quality? No. But if it's just a place to dump your stuff and sleep at night, hard to beat the location.

Nice apartment but bring earplugs!

An overall good apartment in an excellent location near the Acropolis, and excellent communication and instructions for finding the apartment. I think there is currently some renovation happening, as there was for example electrical wires hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom, a cracked toilet lid and water stains on the ceiling in the bedroom, but this was not a problem for me. However, I would recommend bringing earplugs as the building seemed to be very noisy - I could hear doors opening throughout the building very clearly, and people walking around (and doing other things) in the apartment above me. The neighbours also had a party on Friday night and I would not have been able to sleep without earplugs as I could hear all of their conversations very clearly! But they may just have been exceptionally noisy, and in the summer they would probably have been partying outside somewhere.

Comfy bed, quiet place and excellent location. But it was freezing inside, even with the heatpump on and i used both duvets. Also hot water lasted about 2mins and then went cold. Bit disappointed given the excellent reviews

Si vas a tomar un crucero, este es el lugar ideal. Esta a solo 8 minutos del puerto (caminando), lugar limpio, amplio y con todos los requerimientos de un hotel. We loved it! We found it to be a very fine appartment, close to the Acropolis, Plaka, metro, and good local restaurants, all within 5 minutes walk. We felt completely safe in the neighbourhood, even at midnight. The appartment was clean, quiet and cool; airconditioning was available but we did not need it, even with outside temperatures of 30°C at daytime and 23°C at night. Basic kitchen supplies are available. It has two shower bathrooms, absolutely clean and with everything you need, but a little bit small. We had excellent Whatsapp- contact with the host. He provided us with all info we needed and reacted swiftly when we had questions. If you are disabled you may have some problems with the bathrooms and the stairs at the front door. For us, two young people of 60+ years, and healthy, using it as a place to sleep and recover a while at the end of the afternoon, it was a perfect place to stay. We absolutely recommend it!

A charming little place in the heart of Athens. The main attractions are in walking distance and hole-in-the wall eateries nearby. The host's communication and helpfulness were exceptional, answering emails and organising taxis within the hour. We were even allowed to check in a little bit earlier as out flight arrived in the morning, which was fantastic. There is a spiral staircase leading up to a roof top terrace, which was a nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Would definitely recommend Kavalloti Place as we enjoyed our stay there!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Location is great, a short walk to the Acropolis. This is a lovely modern apartment that is quite comfortable for two people. The sitting room can be closed off and the sofa folded down to make it a second bedroom. Beds were firm and comfortable The air conditioner worked very well and was a blessing! There is a little kitchen unit with coffee maker, electric kettle, sandwich press, and microwave in addition to standard kitchen stuff. A tiny table tucked in a corner was sufficient for two people. Two small basic bathrooms, one with a shower too small for adults to use, but the other was fine. We turned the hot water off, as requested, when not needed. It heated up quite quickly, and there was plenty of it.

Best location!

This apartment was very spacious and basically right next door to the acropolis! The only thing I can think to complain about was the wifi. It was a little shotty but as long as you’re not addicted to your phone you’ll be more than happy with this apartment.
