"The staff at the blue jay pub were absolutely lovely and so helpful ,all i have to say is probably a member of staff needs to be alocated in the hotel to save keep walking to the pub to get extra milk ,sugar and toilet roll ,oh and the doors from the hotel room doors are the most loud and scary ones being slammed for hours and hours on end and the floor from the room above us we were room 108 is the most loudest floor heard every footstep all around there rokm so came back from weekend stay...

"only issue was the car charging point wasnt working but that isnt a fault of the hotel its the charging company. Room was clean and staff were very friendly."

"We were stopping at the Lock overnight following a funeral. Reception for check in is in the pub/restaurant (obviously a cost saving exercise). Room was clean and comfortable, no tea/coffee on the drinks tray but to be honest we were so tired we weren’t having one. Comfy bed, room warm enough and minimal noise from guests in other rooms. "

"1 night only. Must admit to feeling disappointed at the look of the building that was the hotel. It looked like an old (very old ) Travelodge before they started their extensive refurbishment programme. Have to say I like staying in Marsdens Inns because they are usually super modern and clean . Not saying this wasn’t clean but the exterior let it down for me. Other than that ok for an overnight stay "
