"This is my second stay at Short Stories (third if you count staying there when it was The Farmer's Daughter), and I've always enjoyed the experience. Rooms are clean and homey, with an artsy, hip vibe. It's really more of a "motel" than a hotel with outdoor walkways leading to the rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful, and there's a good restaurant on the premises.
