"We stayed one night, arriving late at night. We had a pet and stayed in the pet room designated part of the resort. We have stayed in some old renovated hotels before, so it did not bother us that the hotel was older and the upgrades were minimal. But what did bother us was our room was filthy. I am not exaggerating. There was dust everywhere, as if it had not been dusted for months. Dust on the coffee pot, on the tables, on the ice bucket, etc. Then, the bathroom had hairs all over the floor, the pet crate that was supplied in the room, had a cracker in it. We were so tired, we just looked at the sheets which looked okay and slept. The next morning, we went to breakfast at the lodge and the staff were not pleasant, the kiosk menu was completely confusing and the buffet was not even listed as an option...and when we asked the staff, we got an eyeroll and a "what do you want?", and confused with the response, I just said we would like to do the buffet, and the response was "yeah, what do you want??". Then, the coffee was completely out and they said we had to go to the Cafe to get it. We watched as other experienced the same, with 5 employees around not saying a word. After we left that day, I reached out to the text asking us about our stay. I answered with the pictures of the filth we discovered. They said that was "not acceptable" and would discuss it with their manager to see what could be done. Three days later, after a couple of exchanges, never heard back from them. "
