"Great friendly staff and clean easy hotel"

"Although small, the room was clean and comfortable. Parking was a little inconvenient but not terrible. I would have rather have not had to pay, but $15.00 for overnight parking is not too bad either. The entire facility still has a really cool 1920's feel to it. I wonder if anyone has had any "paranormal" experiences? The cool little restaurant and bar in the lobby is pretty awesome. It is also within a very short walk to a few other bars and restaurants. We will definitely be stating there again!"

"Newly renovated rooms are excellent, old ones are okay. I upgraded to new room after a day and really enjoyed the stay. I love the location because it is closer to airport, and in the center to west, east or south loops. I would highly recommend anyone to upgrade to the new rooms."

"Staffing all friendly and helpful. Small restaurant but served good food. Also friendly staff there too. Valet was pricey but efficient. No street parking available. Only minor issue is housekeeping cleans rooms every other day. Did not expect that, so For a family of 4, we had to request more bath towels."

"We needed a place to lay our heads for one night in Phoenix not too far from the airport and found it at the Downtown Hotel. It's more a two-story motel with a central parking lot monitored by video surveillance. Someone checked us in without delay when we arrived a little past midnight, having reserved it only an hour previous. Our only complaints were cosmetic: the handle of the mini fridge fell off, and the paint was peeling around the floor molding in the bathroom. The sun blazed through the uncurtained bathroom window in the morning such that I had to wear sunglasses to enter. But our praise is cosmetic too: Bowie pillow and abstract wall paint for the win! I wouldn't hesitate to overnight here again. Thanks very much."

"Definitely a unique vibe for a hotel room"

"Check in and check out representatives both seemed like it was their first day. The pool is pathetic and old. The common areas except for the 1st floor restaurant are showing their age. I had a cold shower this morning with very little water pressure. I was not impressed with this hotel and I travel frequently. The 1st floor restaurant was great, both service and food."

"THE BREAKFAST WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED! NICE PLACE, FORGOT TO TELL US TO USE OUR ROOM KEY FOR THE ELEVATOR. CAUSED A BIT OF CONFUSION AT FIRST. BATHROOM SINK DIDN'T DRAIN VERY WELL, FIXED IMMEDIATELY! VERY NICE PART OF TOWN, WALKING DISTANCE TO MANY RESTAURANTS AND ARENA. OVERALL I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!"
