"Great place clean, super quiet overlools mountainside. 15 minutes to lava hot springs, 30 minutes to pocatello. Newly remodeled. Great place for family reunions or small group getaways, has connecting bedrooms and a shared kitchen with microwave, sink, dishwasher and fridge. Nice place."

"I go to Lava several time a year and this in my new favorite place to stay! It was great! I would love to visit during the summer to take advantage of the patio in the back. Great people! "

"The property was in good condition and clean. The staff was nice enough. The bed (& pillows) were not comfortable. Breakfast was ok, not too many options, and the breakfast sandwich wasn't too good, but better than a continental breakfast, I suppose. "I love this place and I’ve been here many times over the last 40 years and it’s aged pretty well. The hot tub could’ve been fuller, but I understand it was just clean that day. I did notice that the water temperature in the room took a very long time to get hot, especially in the bathroom sink. Other than that, I would totally stay again. You can’t find friendlier people than lava Hot Springs."

"Staying at the Harkness was an experience. I was wanting to stay at a unique hotel on my trip and the Harkness is definitely that. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting to get away from the cookie cutter hotels."

We didnt have pets with us, but I know that it was welcoming to pets because we saw dogs everywhere and they were allowed in most of the shops. The shops were close by and were in walking distance. We had such a good time!"
