"La struttura è carina con Piscina e appartamenti che hanno i colori tipici della grecia : Bianco e Blu con bei fiori e ambiente rilassante. GEntilissima la reception con Vassilika o Basilico come dovrebbe essere la traduzione dal Greco!!! Creta ha una infinità di belle spiagge che abbiamo visitato nella quasi totalità!!!"

"We enjoyed our stay here - the staff answered messages quickly, and the room although basic had everything needed for a few nights stay including a small well equipped kitchen area (kettle, coffee machine, stove hob). Bathroom was small but perfectly useable. A bit more information about the area would be useful but that's what the internet is for. Check in was via a coded key pick up. The location is about 15 minutes walk from main areas of the town. "

"The cons: First of all there is no sign on the key box to indicate which is for Pananos sq II. Secondly the flight of stairs is steep to carry young children after arriving on a night flight. I suggest if you have kids under 6 yrs old do not stay here. The car parking was a nightmare. The pros: great apartment comfortable everything was clean and kids had lots of room to move around. The friendly grocer is just below the apartment they helped us find the key box and they gave my kids some free...

"What a gorgeous, hidden gem in the village of koutouloufari. We have been visiting the villages for many years and this has been our favourite place to stay. Sandika is the closest you will get to a villa in or even near to koutouloufari without paying villa prices. We stayed in apartment 8 which was spacious and beautifully clean. There was wine, cake, honey, coffee in the apartment on arrival and all free to use. We have stayed in some expensive accommodation in Crete and never had a welcome...

"Very responsive host and the remarkably clean and organized hotel room with secured/easy access was conveniently located in the city center near the Herakleion port. Restaurants and shopping district within walking distance. The host guided me through greatly with finding a parking spot which I appreciate very much. Coffee, tea, a small bottle of ouzo & other assortments were kindly accommodated, such sensible gestures added a wonderful memory to my experience in the famous greek hospitality....
