"The pool was cold and sauna wasnt working. These were two of the main reasons we booked the stay. I rang before booking to ensure a pet friendly property was available and no one mentioned this. The accomodation was very basic with a really hard bed in the master. The kettle leaked from the base, there was broken glass underneath my son’s bed and one of the seats of the sofa was collapsed. "Cosy quiet apartment in beautiful countryside."

"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot...

"A great welcome after a long delayed trip. Our room was excellent, clean tidy with comfortable beds & quality bedding. Super large walk in shower room. Breakfast was superb. Staff very helpful & friendly. The location is perfect for a 10 minute walk into Barnstaple town centre along the promenade by the river. An excellent stay, shame it was only for one night. Highly recommend."
