Great hotel in Antigua

Staff was awesome. Breakfast was great. Beautiful view of the volcano from the room. Nice location close to the main attractions in Antigua. 100% recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Posada de La Luna! The staff were truly exceptional—so friendly, welcoming, and always eager to help. Breakfast in the courtyard was delightful, made even better by the gentle breeze that added to the relaxed atmosphere. While the property itself is on the smaller side, it felt intimate and cozy, almost like staying in someone’s charming home. It was such a warm and memorable experience—highly recommend!

Comfortable room with a great view of the valley. Breakfast was delicious and not too far to walk to the main attractions. One star removed because of the restricted access to property, requiring someone to let you into the hotel. There was no one there at sunrise when I left for an early hike. If the room keys could also open the gates, that would be perfect.

Beautiful Hacienda

The hotel is very nice. It reminds me of an Hacienda. The bed was slightly uncomfortable as it was hard but all the hotels I stayed in were also like that so maybe it’s just their thing I don’t know. The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. Very pretty place. I would stay there again.

It was the first time staying. Great experience! Breakfast is included and have many options to choose from. One thing that I would recommend though, is that hotel staff should let us know when checking in that when you do the check-out the staff checks the room to make sure is OK (no damage or stains) since it takes e a couple of minutes you need to wait until they give you the green light to leave.

We stayed here 5 days ago and came back so my husband could hike a volcano. We booked the same hotel. All the 5 star reviews are correct. The people are so kind, breakfast is great. The location is perfect. A couple blocks and you’re on the main street. It’s very clean, has a/c and all kinds of cute, quiet seating areas on site. They use incense, fun lighting on the outside patio and have fountains running. It’s lovely.
