"Our second visit to the hotel, now booked a total of 3 rooms.
We were spoilt on the first visit, located in the newer wing which was excellent; this time we had a long walk to the older part, bit run down.
There were workmen everyday carrying out repairs, this included wifi which was down for 24 hrs ( out teenager was horrified).
It remains a great hotel with great facilities and will likely book again in two years time."
"Fantastic resort due to having 4 pools and direct beach access to 3 swimming lagoons with white sand beach , good food choices , now 20 years old tho. Mini golf course was nearly unplayable due to leaves and stones .
Having 4 pools is brilliant , love the large saltwater one. Wok and Zen menu is too limited .
Plenty of things too do. Just needs a refurb to bring it back to true 5 star status ."
"Good location, place is definitely in need of modernisation, pool was good but only open 10-6.
Overall ok value but very basic dated rooms also as it’s a bungalow so very open to all sorts of bugs. "
"Good: our bungalow was private and tucked away, quiet. Bed comfy
Bad: had to kill a cocroach in the wardrobe, fridge didnt work, paint on wall was coming off, the property needed a lot of TLC buy was clean.
Staff quite friendly, pool lovely, food mostly nice but sometimes cold. Loved the smoothies in the morning. Coffee good. Struggled to find tea spoons. Too many screaming kids, the restaurant could be split into 2 areas, one for adults only, the other area for families.
Healthy 7 out of 10."
"Food was amazing, communal areas were perfect and plenty of amenities. All staff are very pleasant and really helpful.
The only issue I had was with the room initially - tiny bugs were in the kitchen area (I don’t think anyone had stayed in the room for a while). Maybe common in these locations - I’m not sure.
However, it was clean overall and bug spray I got at a local shop sorted this out."
