It's not the worst experience I've ever had, but there were problems, and I would not stay here again. 1) the first room I was given (in a back building) was smelly when I entered, had a a/c unit that was so loud it would've kept me up, but worst of all, I checked the bed and there was evidence of bed bugs. Called Expedia to change hotels, but they insisted I should try to work it out, so the front desk gave me a room in a different building. This room was much better: no sign of BB; in fact, the mattress was completely encapsulated. Slept fine. Had breakfast and checked out. Got food poisoning symptoms within 22 hours of breakfast. I only at the precooked egg omelet, a bagel, and yogurt, so I think the culprit was the yogurt machine -- something I've never seen before and will not ever use again. No idea how that thing works. The one bright spot of the stay was the amazingly courteous and professional front desk employee, Sonaya (sp?). It is rare to find someone as polite, professional and competent as her in hospitality these days. And she was of the younger generation, which was even more shocking. She was top notch and deserves to work at a better hotel.
