My stay had a few challenges that made it less comfortable than I had hoped. At check-in, I learned the hotel does not accept Apple Pay, and since I didn’t have a physical card with me, it created a stressful situation. The front desk staff member wasn’t very understanding at first, though we eventually figured something out. It would be helpful if payment policies were more clearly communicated ahead of time to avoid situations like this.
When I got to my room, the TV wasn’t working. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal, but I rely on some background noise to sleep, so it did affect my night. I let the front desk know when I went back downstairs, and while they offered to have maintenance look at it in the morning, there wasn’t a solution available that evening.
The next morning, after completing a Disney race, I asked for a late checkout so I could shower and rest a bit. I was told that would be fine. However, despite having the “occupied” sign on the door and letting staff know I’d be out by noon, housekeeping knocked around 11 and then every 15 minutes until checkout. It felt a bit rushed and made it hard to relax.
On a positive note, the room itself was clean. With clearer communication about policies and a bit more flexibility or attentiveness to guest needs, the experience could be much better.
