"I booked using Expedia. However, communication with the hotel through this portal was poor as the hotel did not reply in a timely fashion and mostly gnored questions.
Check-in and check-out was smooth and efficient. The staff at reception were polite and well spoken.
The rooms were not set up on arrival to accomodate our 3 groups of 3. We had to ask for extra beds, towels and glasses. The safe was broken and needing fixing. The shower door did not close fully leading to water all over the floor. This was never fixed despite a request.
Room service, otherwise, was excellent. Staff were polite. The rooms were cleaned and towels replaced on request. The air conditioning was good and kept the rooms cool.
Our rooms had a view of a brick wall. This was, ofcourse, not mentioned on the hotel description.
The hotel was generally clean. We did not use the dining facilities.
The best part of the hotel is the location. It is situated only a few minutes walk away from the Harmandar Sahib Ji Gurdwara complex (Golden Temple) and is excellent if you want to wake up early to walk to the Gurdwara for Amrit Vela."
