Bad Experience

The hotel had many issues, Safe, Fridge and TV was not working. Called the reception for help but it was pointless. Extra bed was an old frame with dirty mattress. Wife signal was horrible. Breakfast selection was not to good, very little variety. Hotel had a bad smell too. The worst was it only had 1 lift, used by both hotel guest and staff. I would only say Thank You to the housekeeping staff and Vijay from Reception. Please note its not a family friendly hotel.

Hotel convenient

Hotel manager and the driver appointed to take us around for sight seeing were very helpful. Hotel - Wifi was very poor, never worked in the room. At late nights till early morning we could hear constructions noise. Also other guest were screaming and shouting, there was no control.

Fantastisk service!

Hotellet har nok sett sine glansdager, men det var absolutt et fint hotell og servicen overskygget i høy grad alt. Servicen var helt fantastisk og de ansatte gjorde alt de kunne for å hjelpe oss med hva enn det skulle være. Vi ønsket å besøke et barnehjem, og til dette fikk vi fantastisk hjelp til å arrangere, selvom om vi sa vi kunne ta taxi insisterte de på at de skulle kjøre og hente oss gratis med hotellets bil. Det var rent og pent, og frokosten var god :)

Before booking make sure of getting mail from hot

We booked the room for 10th Aug.. Night but before reaching we telephoned them for pick services from Train station but after reaching there to our surprise no one was there to pick us up. Anyway we reached there by hiring a local taxi. Room was good , A/c was very effective , Toilet was clean but the room size was very small it is not at all for three elders. They provide you with extra bed but there is no space left to walk in the room.breakfast was not good. Very important tip for future visitors is when you book hotel online make sure your receive a mail from hotel too mentioning about all the services they are going to provide. As we booked the hotel room on hotel.com and according to there mail sent to us showed that breakfast is included but they refused to include that in our stay and asked for the extra service. After much argument they agreed to the give us complimentary breakfast. In the process we wasted out 1 hour and humiliation. Otherwise the hotel is good.

Comfort of home.

Service was excellent. We were greeted with kindness. Upon check in we were escorted to our room. Food was fantastic. Location was good but farther than we were told from what we wanted to see.

Value for money

We booked for 3 adults and were expecting a slightly bigger room - but helpful staff and room cleanliness helped us manage in a smaller room. Location is good - breakfast choice can be improved a little - but overall we were very happy with our stay!

HOTEL CENTRALLY LOCATED

We, my wife and another friend+ his wife, arrived on the 12th of November 2014 and yes we were pleasantly greeted and our rooms were given to us immediately. There was a minor problem about hot water not coming at 02:30 am in the morning as we had to go to the Golden Temple for the morning darshan but it was promptly solved within 15min bu their in house plumber. This was quite remarkable as I never expected this at that hour. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was nice with the staff being very courteous. Would definitely stay here the next time I visit the city.

Stay was excellent, hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Attentive to the needs of its customers. They even upgraded our room to a Deluxe room from standard.

Last Choice

Although situated in new part of Amritsar with Holiday Inn, Clarks Inn, Comfort Inn etc in the vicinity. We had booked 4 rooms together, but unfortunately were one of the rooms was offered in different floor. All the rooms had single bed format and two joined together. Beds are narrow just 30 inch width, which is very difficult for any adult to sleep comfortably. AC cooling was pathetic. We stayed 2 night & 3 days, but largely had our meals outside as Amritsar had very good non veg food options. Only one night, we went to have dinner after confirming with reception for a space in the restaurant, but when we reached the restaurant, we were turned down as no space was available. We had to order room service only. While checking out, we requested for an extended checkout for at least one room. We were allowed just 30 mi extension, but when we went down at 12.30 pm to check out, it took 45 min and even then credit card machine was not working. Finally we went out to ATM, got cash and paid. So our first stay at Best Western, seems to be the last one.

Good value for money...

Although the hotel is in a good condition but it is evident that it has seen better times. During our stay there was water trickling down the artificial ceiling just outside our room and not been addressed for the entire day. The breakfast is just about ordinary and the seating arrangement although plush but make shift. The hospitality and the warmth of the staff makes up for most of the gaps in the upkeep of the hotel. Overall, good value for money but do not expect superlatives...

horrible stink in the bathrooms

Terrible experience in terms of the ac in the rooms were not working n leaking. Had to shift to a different room with a child around midnight in which the bathrooms had a terrible stench. Totally hyped this hotel was......I wouldn't visit here again. Stayed in better 3 star hotels.
