"This is an incredibly cool place to say (both literally and figuratively). My husband counted eight separate air conditioners on the roof, which makes sense when you consider this house was built during a time when there was no central AC and summers in Macon can be brutal. That being said, if you're someone who takes a chill, you would be advised to pack warm pajamas or some fuzzy socks. They offer extra blankets, though! "The hotel is absolutely stunning. Views are great. Rooms were so nostalgic I loved it. Bed was comfortable. Pool was great too. Only thing I’d say is don’t expect a big breakfast its very light. Just eggs and a bread variety, fruit and yogurt. Overall a great place to stay."
