"I am requesting a refund for my reservation at Sebastian Garden Inn & Suites due to the unacceptable and unsanitary condition of the property. I had booked a 4-night stay, but I was only able to remain for the first night because the room conditions were so disturbing and no other hotels had availability that evening. Upon arrival, I was first given the wrong room type (two twin beds) even though my reservation clearly shows an efficiency room with one queen bed. I had to provide proof of my booking before the front desk corrected the mistake. Once moved to the second room, the conditions were shocking. Both rooms had a strong moldy odor that made it difficult to breathe and impossible to feel comfortable. The bathroom was filthy, with visible rust, grime, stains, and unsanitary buildup on the tub fixtures, drain, and sink hardware. The shower was in such poor condition that I felt unable to use it at all. The sink area and fixtures were dirty and deteriorated, and the cabinet beneath the sink was stained and unclean. The refrigerator and air conditioning unit also appeared neglected and unsanitary. In addition, the exterior of the property and parking lot were in poor condition, creating an overall impression of neglect and lack of cleanliness. I have photographs documenting these issues. The conditions were far below any reasonable standard for a hotel advertised on Expedia and did not match expectations for a safe, clean, habitable stay. "

"We stayed a week. Our accommodations were the cleanest I ever have seen. No lie. The owners live onsite and are very nice. The huge, covered room on the river was perfect for entertaining our friends who visited us from Fort Lauderdale. The view was beautiful, the breeze off the river incredible and the pool also was immaculate. I didn't want to go home. We biked to restaurants and walked to the park next door. "Amazing place to stay in Sebastian. Walking distance from several restaurants, including an Italian restaurant with the best garlic rolls we've ever had and some of the best pizza! We took a few day trips out to Sebastian Inlet State Park and saw dolphins, manatees, crabs, a sting ray and lots of fish. We think snorkeling there will be better in the summer time. Our place was well equipped with any kitchen items one would need and beds were comfortable. The washer and dryer were a little bit noisy but we were thankful to have them after our theme park days in Orlando! Sunsets over Indian River were beautiful. The place was immaculately clean when we moved in and check in and parking were easy. We'd stay here again if we're ever in Sebastian again! "
