The staff were very friendly and courteous and the setting on the lakeside is very picturesque. Our room was very tired and in need of refurbishment and the dining area could similarly do with an upgrade. Lovely location amongst lush green gardens. Staff were great, especially the restaurant team, who made us feel at home. Loved afternoon tea, watching the sunset at the lakeside. Trips from the hotel are pricey, but we walked to the bridge and jumped on boats to explore the lake and backwaters.
