"We had a wonderful stay at the Burghotel-das Original. Vanessa and staff were welcoming and attentive. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom a bit small but met our needs. We were on the top floor (72 steps one way) so if you have mobility issues please let Vanessa know. She will do her best to make accommodation and one side hotel has an elevator. I climbed those steps and it was worth every one. The Gatsby bar at night after a day of sightseeing or Christmas Market before tackling the stairs was a lovely ending with our hostess P. The upstairs rooms were for a family of 3 and worked very well for us. We paid for our breakfast and it was worth it. The food offerings were plentiful and if needed could request eggs scrambled. Again, Vanessa and staff very attentive and friendly. I would stay again. Thanks you to Vanessa’s mother for the traditional Christmas cookies waiting in our room. So Yummy.😋. For Christmas 🎄 market and the 🏰 Nuremberg Castle is just around the corner. Big reminder: Nuremberg has a lot of steep hills. Walking to all the Christmas Markets and down through Nuremberg was so much fun and The Burghotel -das Original was a great starting point. We walked so far we had to uber back one night. We also used DayTrip car service to take a day trip to Rothenburg Odt. We Dinklesbuhl and on to Strassbourg. Thanks you Vanessa, P( Night host and The Gatsby) and all staff for a wonderful time. "
