"This was a nice, clean and modern hotel. The luggage storage was great and allowed us to go explore the city until we could check in. Our room was exactly as pictured. The only heads up I might give future bookers - if you’re booking for a family (we had 2 adults and 2 kids) the bathroom isn’t the best set up older kids who might be shy/private. The bathroom is open on one and another side is glass with a thin curtain. I knew this going in and as we were only staying one night it was fine. But my modest tween would absolutely NOT shower in there though my 8 yo didn’t care. Other than that both my kids loved the room and the hotel, as did the adults. Would def stay again."

Ultra convenient for travel and visiting Salzburg

"We selected this hotel based on it's close proximity to the central rail station. We were able to walk right out the door of the station and next door to the hotel. Concerns about train noise were non-existent. Morning breakfast in the 6th floor room gave us an amazing daily view of the Fortress Hohensalzburg and was a short Uber or walk to most of the city sites. Finally, when I forgot my passport in the room safe, they called me shortly after we checked out and I was able to go back to the hotel and pick it up before we left the city. Outstanding service and extremely convenient for travelling in the area."

Don’t miss Hotel Stein!

"This is my go to hotel when I travel to Salzburg. The rooms are fantastic. The staff is superior and the rooftop bar is not to be missed. The views of Salzburg at night are absolutely stunning, but bear in mind. You will need to have patience as there are no reservations it’s first come first serve and normally packed. The only complaint that I have is that my room lack of coffee maker but then again I also booked the cheapest room possible. "
