"Ok for a low-budget one night stopover."

"We loved staying in an historic hotel. So charming. The rooms were simple, in need of renovation, but clean with comfortable beds. Stepping into the pub was like going back in time. Great beer there, food not so great. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Great staff, comfy beds, clean rooms, easy parking, lovely food in the restaurant. Will definitely look to return if staying in the area again."

"Lovely hotel in the hills. Great food, lovely staff, very comfortable."

"Okay for a short stay. Little bit of tlc was needed throughout, otherwise all ok"

"A nice travellers rest inn, we had a very spacious ground floor room with an equally spacious ensuite, the room was a little noisy early evening, but was generally quiet overnight. Well located in the centre of Bakewell close to all the town has to offer. The adjoining pub has a great atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating."

"Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff. Nice pub. Good breakfast. Perfect for Buxton stop over. 2minute walk from Opera House for gig we were at. And parking nearby."
