unique location in a nice castle hotel. The only negative point were the very thin yellow curtains that didn't even close, so an early rise is guaranteed :-)

Hotel is located in a quite village. Room was very clean and meal was wonderfull. From the reception we were warm welcome by a lady abd her staff. Surrounded by nature the hotel offers quite place with a big garden and few animals. For sure we’ll be back

The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean, good bed, shower. Breakfast was delicious, both for eyes and mouth. And the surroundings were special. The castle, the park around, dining room, view from the tower, everything! And it was for “normal” people!

Fantastisk sted!

Skønne omgivelser, dejligt gammelt slot med usædvanligt hjælpsomt og høfligt personale, tilbød med det samme vand til vores hunde, og et værelse i stueplan da jeg ikke kan gå på trapper. Dejligt lydløst på værelset pga. de tykke mure. Et sted man har lyst til at komme igen!

Middelalder hygge

Dejligt roligt sted i lille by. Kom om aftenen hvor det var mørkt så ingen ide om byens muligheder. Meget venlig modtagelse og generelt et meget flot sted. Maden er typisk tysk og solid. Lille minus er manglen på vinkort, der er kun 2 rødvine trocken eller halbtrocken fra samme producent, stedet inspirerer til vin hygge i de store sale, så udvalget her ville jeg sætte stor pris på :-) Godt prissat, og ligger perfekt hvis man er på vej nord/syd.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, ruhige Gegend, interessantes Gebäude - kleine "hoppalas" passieren, das Frühstück ist ausreichend, nicht opulent, insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Schönes sauberes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, kostenloser Pakplatz. Restaurant empfehlenswert. Eine zusätzliche Ablagemöglichkeit im Bad wäre schön. Das Fernsehprogramm ist ziemlich eingeschränkt ( Kein ZDF, einige Sender hatten ein sehr schlechtes Bild)

Da vi kom, fik vi valget om vi ville have et koldt eller varmt værelse, vi valgte et koldt idet vi havde hunde med. da vi kom til værelset, var der ikke gjort klar til os, kun 1 sæt pude og dyne. gulvet var beskidt, der lå pille under sengen fra tidligere gæster dvs man gør ikke rent under sengen, hvilket det også bar præg af. da vi skulle sove kunne gardinerne ikke trækkes helt for, Jeg syntes værelset ikke stemte i overens med prisen, det er alt for dyrt for denne kvalitet. Men et lækket område med god udenoms plads.

Een prima verblijf voor een op doorreis.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hadden wij in het Schloss Altenhausen. Een fijne koele kamer (buiten temperatuur was 39 graden juli 2022). We keken op de mooie binnenplaats en het Schloss was s'avonds gezellig verlicht. Het avond eten was goed bevallen en de bediening erg aardig. Het ontbijt vonden wij wat karig, meer keuze zou wel wenselijk zijn.
