Lovely old building. Easy parking. Great location, just 5 mins walk to Plaza Mayor and huge choice of restaurants. We also had a delicious dinner, very reasonably priced at the Parador. Would stay again.
The old convent turned into Parador is an amazing building. The town is wonderful and full of historical significance around culture and arts, particularly theatre.
Exceptionally comfortable bed with nice crisp sheets. Large well furnished room. Excellent bathroom. This old monastery is a beautiful and intriguing building full of religious artefacts.
We had a beautiful stay at the Parador Almagro. We used the which was very nice since it was stifling hot.
Very is very nice, just found the bed a bit hard but that’s a me problem. Breakfast in the court yard is beautiful.
Thank you for a great stay. I would give it a 4.5 stars.
Great location, and one of the staff makes ours stay memorable, no swimming pool, was closed and it was hot days and also the bar runout of apperol drink, nothing untill the following weeks, pity, though.
Gorgeous historic property in lovely Almagro. Stunning rooms, beautiful outside areas and large pool. Restaurant and breakfast top quality and great value. Highly recommended.
Thoroughly modern room in a wonderful old monastery with all the features normally expected of Parador. Excellent restaurant and all very recommendable.
Beautiful property, amazing restaurant, lovely pool and bar area. Check-in was very warm and welcoming. Our one bit of upset was that our room AC shut off during dinner, and the room was very warm when we came back. There was no info available and no obvious way to fix this, and the in-room thermostat wasn’t working (no power). We called reception at 10:30 and were told there was no one in the building who could fix our AC. Finally another family member staying at the parador came over and with four people systematically flipping switches and checking fuses in a fuse box, we finally got the air to come on after 20-30 minutes. At a parador, I would hope not to have to do such electrical work ourselves, without assistance. Other than that incident, we had a lovely stay.
