Hotel Dekat Alma Walking Trail

"This place wasn't fit to stay in. The "air freshener" in the room produced such pungent chemical fumes that I had trouble breathing and my partner's skin started burning and breaking out in hives. I told the manager about this and requested a refund, but she told me that the smell was just an air freshener and that there was nothing wrong with the room, and thus she wouldn't do anything about it. We left anyway because being in the room was literally making both of us sick."

"Checking in was easy. The young lady at the reception desk was very nice and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable."

"Liked nothing. Dirty and smelled like burnt grease. Room door was bent and loose. Toilet leaked sewage at the floor. Bed sagged was like sleeping in a bathtub. Ran out of hot water at 4 AM shower. Not worth it even if free. Should get a refund."

"We are elderly people and the walk was very long to get to our room. There was something making noise outside our room all night long in hallway area. I'm not sure what it was but kept me up all night long two of the nights. The coffee was great and the front desk staff was very accommodating. The breakfast could use some improvement but wasn't bad for an empty stomach."

"Loved the large rooms and location. Breakfast options were great as well."

"We will definitely be staying there again! It was very quiet and exactly as described."

"Management helped when key card wouldn’t open door and decided the room smelled musty. She moved us to another room with an upgrade."

"Staff was friendly. Room was clean, but they did not clean while we were there. Breakfast was just ok, coffee was warm not hot."

"You can tell the “no smoking” signs everywhere are just for show. Got into my room…immediately drove to Walmart for air fresheners and Lysol. It was like a chain smoker lived in that room for years. Everything was covered in tar and the room absolutely wreaked. I was in town for work and this place was cheap. But I lasted 4 days before I had to tap out and find somewhere cleaner. No refunds and the staff will tell you “come back at 9am” if you come with a complaint or make a request for a room...

"One of the best stays in this area"

"Most of the outlets didn’t work, the hair dryer didn’t work , the beds were like sleeping on a thin mat on a floor , very hard ."

"I liked that it was in area of good restaurants & shopping but the property needs renovation, updates. There was a fabric chair in my room that I would never have sat in. The tub drained slowly. There was either dirt or mold on the outside length of the tub. Red something in front of the toilet on the floor. I called down to the front desk that I had just passed because I spoke with the lady with the nose ring. When I got to my room I called to find out if I cld check out that night so I could...
