Hotel Dekat Allens Creek State Recreation Area

"The hotel is old but acceptable. My biggest disappointment was being given a room overlooking the parking lot, even though the hotel wasn't fully booked. Considering its main attraction is the lakeside location, they could have offered an identical room with a lake view. Cleanliness was also disappointing. There was black dirt in the bathtub, cobwebs around the window frames, and even a spider. There was no phone in the room. Since I was traveling light, I asked for simple disposable slippers...

"Good location"

"Clean, roomy, helpful staff, good breakfast"

"Staff was just super. I locked my keys in the car and they got me a locksmith pronto. Buffie was a rock star!! Thank you, Stacy"

"Very limited breakfast, almost no staff and no need as well, as the room was well maintained. Big parking and close to many restaurants and also close to motorway. Room size was big with 2 Tv. Its worth the price of room"

"We had a lovely experience. The grounds and the upstairs balcony in the Composer House were perfect."

"Love the tea and cookies at check in plus the free breakfast and staff are all very friendly"

The breakfast offerings, including coffee, were consistently cold. All shiny surfaces were covered in fingerprints for the...

"A beautiful hotel and in such a great location!!"

"I live in terre haute and my best friend lives in bloomington, so this is perfect for my nights visiting them. It's cheap, clean, quiet, and the staff were very friendly. I plan on using this establishment every time I'm in town!"
