"We absolutely loved our stay at Convento Espinheiro. The staff was very amicable and helpful. There were minor maintenance issues in our room, such as the bidet toilet attachment and the shower handles, but everything else was superb. The restaurants are top notch!"

"This is the 4th time that we have stayed at this property, which is well maintained, well appointed and conveniently located. Breakfasts are good, although the service is a bit inflexible with only two types of egg preparation (scrambles and boiled). But each stay has been marked by a dour, miserable attitude by both reception and outlet staff. This is a pity, as this hotel could easily be a 5 star accommodation."

"Beautiful boutique hotel created in an early 19th century mansion, right in the middle of the old walled city. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. Very conveniently located 3 minutes from the Bones Chapel and restaurants. No parking on site but free street parking from 2 PM to 9 AM just in front of the hotel or in a lot a short walk away (free all day).
