"This is a new property, so the disgusting public haven’t destroyed the newness by scaring up the walls or kicking in the bathroom doors yet.
A real treat to stay here, breakfast was far better than most, south hill mall entrance is a 30 yard walk out the back exit and plenty of restaurants on the edge of the mall parking lot."
"The place was a good place to stay. However, there is NO TV or Internet aka WiFi in the room. There is NO Rerigerator or Microwave in the room.
NO BATHROOM inside your room, aka you have to use a common bathroom for commode usage.
NO PRIVATE SHOWER inside your room aka you have to use a common shower room.
It makes it very hard to communicate with the outside world without WiFi
It is a good place to connect with nature but without WiFi it makes it hard to plan your next set of steps be it food or next place to stay etc.,
It is hard to find info about the Paradise Inn and about Mt. Rainer as well.
Food was decently good and staff was awesome.
Not VERY VEGETARIAN or VEGAN friendly. Limited options for Vegetarian and Vegan folks. Please be aware and bring food yourself to be safe."
"Outstanding Experience at Paradise Village Hotel – Thanks to Alex at the Spa
Our stay at Paradise Village Hotel in Ashford, Washington was truly memorable, and a huge reason for that was Alex, who works at the spa. From start to finish, Alex delivered an exceptional level of service that genuinely exceeded our expectations.
We booked the Cannibal Hot Tub service for our family and were absolutely impressed by how professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming Alex was. He took the time to explain the entire spa experience in detail and offered several options and approaches to ensure the service was tailored perfectly to our needs. Every step of the process was well‑guided, thoughtful, and handled with great care.
What stood out the most was Alex’s deep knowledge—not only about spa procedures, but also about the hotel itself. He enthusiastically shared information about the property, amenities, and things to enjoy during our stay, which made us feel even more connected and comfortable at the resort. His recommendations were genuinely helpful and clearly came from a place of pride in his work and the hotel.
Alex was incredibly polite, patient, and attentive, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for our entire family. It’s rare to encounter someone who combines professionalism with such warm, personal service, and it made a lasting impression on us.
Because of Alex, we left feeling refreshed, valued, and eager to return. We will absolutely come back to Paradise Village Hotel"
"The photos on the website are very misleading compared to what you see in person. The room was much smaller than it appeared online. I understand the hotel is rated 6.2, but there should still be some basic standards.
The biggest issue was the smell. The hallway leading to my room, and the room itself, had a strong odor of marijuana and possibly other substances. The hallway did not look or feel clean.
The pictures make the hotel and rooms look inviting, modern, and very clean. In reality, the property looked more run down and cramped. After walking through the hallway and into the room and noticing the smell and overall condition, I decided not to stay and went to a different hotel instead."
"We stayed at their Salal Cabin which is brand new & sits back in the woods. It is so adorable & comfortable. It has a fantastic heater system that keeps you the ideal temperature. The furnishings are so lovely. The reception staff was so kind & even provided us breakfast for the next day since there are no food establishments close by. The property is so beautiful with a pond & seating area to relax & enjoy the ducks & fish jumping. We will absolutely be returning. It is so close to Mt. Rainier entrance; we got into the park in minutes."
