"I liked the room. It was clean and comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The hotel had 10 room rooms only for guests. It was a charming place. It had no amenities, breakfast was not included. "
"The hotel was incredible, the staff was very friendly and even though I don't speak Italian, they helped me find out how to get transportation and the food there is delicious."
"We stayed for 2 nights with small children and the location was perfect. The rooms are brand new and clean. Perfect area to wind down after a busy day touring Rome. The staff was very helpful guiding us and recommending places nearby."
"Simple, clean & quiet boutique hotel with high quality comfortable large bed & pillows in a decent sized room. Staff were excellent & helpful prior & during the stay - we paid extra for a pre-arranged early check in.
We planned to get the Metro (10 mins walk) however this was closed for weekend work which meant $$$ on taxis. Restaurant options are limited - this is a local neighbourhood away from the centre of Rome but found amazing deli & coffee en route.
In typical Rome style, the plumbing...
"Booked room last minute due to train delays from Naples. Found it odd that the front desk staff questioned why I waited so long to book, little unfriendly. Rooftop lounge is nice and bar staff was great, food for dinner was just average but convenient to have onsite restaurant."

"We loved the location! Could walk almost everywhere and ate at 2 amazing restaurants around the corner from the hotel, one of them having great gluten free options for me! Loved the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. Very quiet even though in a busy area. Great breakfast options, with great selection including fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit juices and fruit ,different coffee options! They have vending machines for snacks and wine! Could buy tokens to do laundry. Loved staying at IQ Roma and would highly recommend!"
Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel & SPA - Preferred Hotels & Resorts
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is not a Hotel. It is a family palace with a personal experience. The owners David and Gabriella will serve you every step of the way to ensure your 5 star experience. If you are seeking the typical branded 5 star experience as defined by the hotel association then this is not for you!
If you are expecting a 5 star typical traditional Tuscan experience complete with a private vineyard then this is the place like no other in tuscany.
Food is homemade, service is superior, eco friendly gardens are amazing with roses and herb gardens, pool and event space is spectacular, private in room spa is unique and upscale, location to tuscany experience especially the town of Cortona is amazing and overall you could not have a better local tuscan experience.
If you like the hustle and bustle of a 5 star urban densely populated hotel in the center of a city then you should stay in rome, florence or even venice. Moreover, if you are looking for a stress free, exceptional culinary experience with a tuscan family style experience then this is the place for you.
It is one hour and 20 minutes north of Florence by Train. There are 22 trains a day from florence to the Torentola train station which is 10 minute from the Parco Dei Principi Grand Hotel & Spa.
We are owner of hotels, condos and multifamily residential projects in South Florida and therefore absolutely know the difference between quality.
This is total quality!
Thank you David and Gabriella! "
