Honestly the nicest place I've ever stayed, the staff were fantastic, the food was amazing and it was so relaxing, with a convenient bus service to get into town.
The food for dinner was exquisite.
the outside of the building could use a good steam pressure wash. Onsen facilities were wonderful.
happy hour refreshments were amazing taste of local area.
Higashiyama onsen is a lovely, narrow canyon on the outskirts of Aizuwakamatsu. The red and blue sightseeing buses stop within 150 yards of the hotel. The onsen baths are not too hot. The food is great. Our room was a regular one and was spacious. All in all it was a very nice place.
